Registration, Cancellation and Refund Policy 2008/2009
US Domestic Travel: Deposits are due upon registration. Deposit amounts vary, depending on selected trip. Full payment of trip balance for domestic travel is due 60 days prior to trip departure date. Full refund, less US$ 250 cancellation fee for domestic travel will be given upon written notice of cancellation on or prior to 90 days before trip departure. If cancellation is made less than 90 days prior to the trip departure the following charges are due:
60-89 days prior 50% of total trip costs
01-59 days prior 100% of total trip costs
* Please note: Customized itineraries for all destinations where payment is due upon receipt of invoice are non refundable.
International Travel: Deposits are due upon registration. Deposit amounts vary, depending on selected trip. Full payment for International travels are due 90 (or 120) days prior to trip departure. Please refer to your specific trip selection. Full refund, less US$ 500.00 cancellation fee for international travel will be given upon written notice of cancellation if the 90 day rule applies as above.
If the 120 day rule applies, the following charges are due:
120-91 days prior 50% of total trip costs
less than 90 days prior 100% of total trip costs
Please read this carefully. Any cancellation has to be received in writing. After receipt of deposit/payment, expanded trip details will be forwarded.We highly recommend trip insurance in case of emergency cancellations and will send you the necessary forms after your registration.
Limitations of liability: We carefully design our trips and use only expert guides and premium equipment. However, the activities in which you will be participating can be demanding with inherent elements of risk and danger beyond our control. It is important to us that you understand that there are certain risks involved in every wilderness adventure. Arctic Ladies inc. assumes no liability or responsibility for any injuries, deaths, or loss or damage of property. We assume no responsibility for any expenses due to cancellation or delays due to weather or other circumstances. Arctic Ladies inc. also reserves the right to cancel any trip due to hazardous conditions and to make alterations in the schedule and itinerary of any trip in the interest of the safety and comfort of its clients. Every participant will be required to sign an acknowledgment of risk and a release of liability prior to her tour.
